The Pakistani skincare market has a problem.
At one end, you find cheap products with weak formulations - pretty packaging, no real results. At the other end, imported brands priced far beyond reach, and rarely designed with Pakistani skin, climate, or lifestyle in mind.
In between? Very little.
No brand was clearly communicating what was actually in the formula. No brand was using clinical-grade actives at concentrations that science supports. No brand was building trust the way it deserves to be built — through transparency, not just marketing.

Ilume Clinical was built by two founders who believe that premium skincare in Pakistan has been done wrong for too long — and that fixing it required both engineering precision and marketing intelligence.
Shehzad — Co-Founder & Product Lead
I’m Shehzad, a Senior Tech Lead with over 12 years of experience building software systems. And I am the co-founder of Ilume Clinical.
My background is in engineering — writing code, solving complex problems, designing systems that work reliably at scale. When I decided to build a skincare brand, I brought that same mindset with me.
I approached formulation the way I approach software: with research, precision, and zero tolerance for things that don't work.
I spent months studying skincare chemistry, evaluating ingredients, understanding what Pakistani skin actually faces — the harsh UV index, the humidity, the pollution, the lack of accessible clinical options. And then I built the brand I wished already existed.
Ilume Clinical is not a passion project. It is a deliberate, systems-driven business — built to earn your trust through formulation quality, ingredient transparency, and consistent results.

Faisal is the founder of an AI software development company, with deep expertise in marketing strategy and artificial intelligence. He brings to Ilume Clinical what most skincare brands in Pakistan completely lack — the ability to reach the right customer, with the right message, at the right moment.Where Shehzad builds the product, Faisal builds the bridge between that product and the people who need it. His experience in AI-driven marketing means Ilume Clinical does not just compete on formulation — it competes on intelligence.
